The two bands met when The Dirty Coal Train toured Brasil in 2016 and they’ve been friends ever since. Mary O and the Pink Flamingos have a more surf & punk sound (check ot the bands hits: It’s Potato and 25 Pesetas (Me Dá Uma Carona, Boy) while The Dirty Coal Train recorded some garage & punk tracks plus covers of Urinals, Dead Moon, The Troggs and The Sonics in Luis Tissot (the Fabulous Go-Go Boy From Alabama also plays with his bands: Human Trash, Jazz Beat Committee, Jesus & The Groupies, Thee Dirty Rats) at Caffeine studio in São Paulo.
