Lucy Potato (with Marky Ramone)

You're Tearin' Me Apart (with Marky Ramone)

This Teenage Head release was only issued on CD in Canada in 2008 as a short run, and have never been reissued since…  We’re really proud to have this one on glorious vinyl, thanks to Steve Mahon, original  bass player… The band asked Marky Ramone to record some classic Teenage Head songs with them, along with some rarities and covers… The result is astonishing, Marky came with Daniel Rey, great NY producer (Ramones, Misfits, Gang Green, Gluecifer…) to record the session… 12 tracks were recorded, 10 originals from the classic Teenage Head repertoire, and two covers, “Some Kinda Fun ” (Chris Montez, that the band already recorded in 82) and the Boys’ “First Time”… The band is on fire, going thru classics like “Picture My Face”, “Let’s Shake”, Tearin’Me Apart” or “Lucy Potato”, and also with more obscure songs from their catalogue, like “Ain’t Got No Sense” or “Little Boxes”… The LP will come in solid pink vinyl, with an insert with all the original liner notes written by guitar player Gord Lewis. 500 ex.
