Sunnyboy66 Records proudly presents this incredible collection from the Southeast Asian scene: 1960s beat, pop, and garage a-go-go sounds from the golden era of 1965–1968.

These 18 tracks—never before featured on a compilation—prove beyond doubt that the Asian rock explosion of the ’60s was vibrant, inventive, and full of fire. With vocals in Mandarin and Hokkien, the songs blend irresistible hooks with clever, dynamic rhythms. Far from imitating Western influences, these bands created their own unique energy and voice.

Expect swirling organs, fuzzed-out guitars, and wild percussion, all delivered with raw intensity and a spirit of joyful chaos.
