Description

In the 1960s, it was common for British beat groups to spice up their repertoire with American R&B songs. The Missfits, formed by five music-loving schoolars from Blackpool, were no exception. Although the group didn’t release any records during their time together, they were the stars of Blackpool clubland for two short years. The tape was soon forgotten and thought to be lost, but resurfaced, allowing the four tracks to appear on this ’60s-style vinyl EP.
Covers by Chuck Berry, Ray Charles, Bo Diddley and John Lee Hooker.
