Between 1965 and 1969, a small but passionate wave of bands emerged across the Middle East, crafting their own take on the Western invasion of garage, beat, and psychedelia. Armed with guitars, swirling organs,  and a hunger for experimentation, these young musicians fused local influences with the raw energy of the global 60’s counterculture — creating a sound as unique as it was fleeting.

Middle East Freakout (Garage/Beat/Pop & Psychedelia Underground 1965-1969) shines a light on this overlooked moment in music history, compiling rare and uncompiled tracks that capture the spirit of rebellion, joy, and fuzzed-out grooves straight from the region’s smoky clubs and dance halls. Each song is lovingly restored and carefully remastered for the best possible sound.
