Description

Phil & the Spectras - Every Night 7'' E.P Limited to 200 copies - Garage/Psych by Sunnyboy66 Records

The tyme has come… Ladies and Gentlemen, let’s welcome Phil & The Spectras
The new 7″ vinyl release of β€œEvery Night” captures a band that has the true spirit of 60s beat culture since their earliest days. Born in Madrid in the mid-90s, the group began life as The Mysterons and The Miskatonics, but their compass never wavered: fiery British Rhythm & Blues, obscure nuggets of nederbeat, and the unfiltered, rough-edged punch of mid-60s American garage. They’ve always chased the raw spark that made that era so explosive.
True to that devotion, Phil & The Spectras play only original 1960s instruments and amplifiers, keeping every tone warm, cranky, and gloriously alive. Their first showsβ€”small Madrid venues, college stages, places where sweat hit the floor before the first chorusβ€”are now the stuff of whispered stories. Just a few rehearsal tapes survive from that period, cherished by the lucky few who heard the band in their primal form.
After years of silence, the group stepped back into Estudio OriΓ³n in Madrid, recording live, straight to the bone, without a single studio trick. What you hear on this EP is part of that session: a band playing as if the 60s never ended, burning through their material with heart and grit.
This 7″ edition of β€œEvery Night” is strictly limited to 200 copies, cut at 33 R.P.M., and released by Sunnyboy66 Records with the participation of the magnificent Dralasite Records. The sleeve features artwork by Achille Brunet, adding the final touch to a release crafted with absolute love for the era.
A small pressing with big spiritβ€”an authentic slice of garage history, revived and preserved in vinyl.
