Portland’s Thee Montgomery Wards (members of The Sellwoods) make their vinyl debut with four stripped-down cuts of raw, lo-fi garage punk with a firm nod to the 1960s — no retro theatrics, just straight-ahead punch!

Side A kicks off with the title track, Drinkin’ at The Bar, followed by the menacing groove of Road Flare. On the flip: the fuzzed-out Daze of Our Lives and a version of Get My Way — a cover of the classic by Pittsburgh legends The Cynics.

Hailing from the Pacific Northwest — long-time breeding ground for some of the coolest garage punk since the ‘60s — Thee MWs are very much part of that raw and raucous lineage.
