Halloween is just around the corner & this is a fun Halloween album. It’s even got former TV horror film host John Zacherle making an appearance (at age 80!). I am partial to Satan’s Pilgrims “Gravewalk”, Los Straitjackets covering The Munsters Theme, and Frenchy’s “Ribcage Mambo” is macabre little lounge tune… hard to believe East Bay Ray played with them for a while. The one clunker on here is the Deadbolt track, I have never been able to stand them & this track is no exception. Overall though, this is a fun Halloween album & can actually be listened to at ALL times of the year, unlike Christmas albums.
