LA SECTA es uno de esos grupos ajenos a todo lo que pasa a su alrededor. Fieles a una misma idea desde su formación, no solo es parte ya de la historia de la música vasca por ser una de aquellas primeras bandas en enarbolar la bandera del Garage, la Psicodelia o el primer High Energy local, sino porque, a base de su propio esfuerzo, ha ganado ser dueña de uno de los historiales, más sorprendentes y desconocidos de todo el estado. A lo largo de sus más de 30 años de carrera,y a pesar, o a favor de todos sus cambios de formación, el grupo ha conseguido llegar a editar más de 70 referencias para varios sellos internacionales de la talla de: Munster Records, Hell Yeah, Yep!, Sympathy For The Record Industry, Get Hip Recordings, Gasatanka, cords, Paranoiz, Max Picou, Subterfuge, Planet of Noise, Vicious Circle o Kinetic Vibes.También tiene el mérito de haberse convertido en la única banda que ha sobrevivido a su propia generación, y es de agradecer que todavía hoy jugueteen sobre el escenario con esa humilde honestidad de los que están en esto por pura afición.A lo largo de su trayectoria, la banda se mantuvo en una liguilla alejada de lo que fue el Indie de los 90; cambiando deestilo a la vez que cambiaban de formación; y avanzando, cada vez, hacia un sonido más enérgico y acelerado.Una de las bandas más interesantes que ha dado nuestra escena. Edición Deluxe y limitada de 300 copias con portada serigrafiada e incluye un single con canciones inéditas y nuevas de la banda.

LA SECTA is one of those bands unaware of everything that happens around them. Faithful to the same idea since its formation, it is not only part of the history of Basque music for being one of the first bands to fly the flag of Garage, Psychedelia or the first local High Energy, but also because, based on its own efforts, it has earned to be the owner of one of the most surprising and unknown records in the whole state. Throughout its more than 30 years of career, and in spite of, or in favor of all its line-up changes, the group has managed to release more than 70 references for several international labels such as: Munster Records, Hell Yeah, Yep! Sympathy For The Record Industry, Get Hip Recordings, Gasatanka, cords, Paranoiz, Max Picou, Subterfuge, Planet of Noise, Vicious Circle or Kinetic Vibes. Also has the merit of having become the only band that has outlived its own generation, and it is thankful that even today they still play on stage with that humble honesty of those who are in this for pure hobby. Throughout their career, the band remained in a league away from what was the Indie of the 90’s; changing their style as they changed their line-up; and advancing, each time, towards a more energetic and accelerated sound.One of the most interesting bands that our scene has given.
