Mile Ends - Bottle Up And Go ...1966

Before metamorphosing into the Superfine Dandelion, Phoenix’s Mile Ends–inspired by playing the top Tempe teen haunt, the Fifth Estate–blasted out the drinking anthem “Bottle Up And Go.” With the other side of their first slab of wax (originally released on Rook Records) came a cover of “Candy Man.”

We’ve added sizzling previously unreleased Pretty Things and Them covers to that scintillating 45, along with unearthed photographs and liner notes by John P. Dixon, expert on the Phoenix sound.

Includes:

Candy Man • Bottle Up And Go • Can Never Say (previously unissued) • Bring ‘Em On In
