Formed in Volos back in 2023, The Rubbers swim against the current, serving unadulterated primitive moody punk. If your sonic radar is tuned somewhere between the legendary Pebbles and Back From The Grave compilations, you’ve just found your next obsession!
Featuring scene veterans who’ve been tearing up the Greek garage/punk underground for years (The Frantic Five, The Jacks, The Overtones, Tenderfeet), the band delivers pure, unrefined 60s sonic madness:
- Screaming vintage guitars (Fender Telecaster & Eko Kadett) cranked through VOX amps with a sharp, moody garage edge
- Relentless, pounding beat drums
- Wild, atmospheric vocals, tortured tambourines, maracas & dirty harmonica
